24kGoldn x SS23 2022 Men’s Fashion Week Style Journal

As a rising talent in the music and entertainment business, Golden Landis Von Jones – known professionally as 24kGoldn – has become one to watch in the industry. He has quickly amassed several platinum-selling singles, a gold debut studio album (Gold), and a legion of loyal fans. However, outside of his musical talent, he is also trying to become a new style star.

Recently, embarking on a short holiday visit along with a short promotional tour across Europe, the 21-year-old San Francisco native has shared with Hypebeast an exclusive set of fashion images that capture his everyday outfits at the recent men’s fashion week shows in Milan and Paris. . Participating in the Spring/Summer 2023 collections for brands such as Moschino, Versace, Givenchy, Dior and others, the Californian rapper/singer/songwriter and 2020 XXL Freshman combined sophisticated swag with edgy street style wearing an array of chic outfits — including a low-key mix of luxury brands, artisan denim, graphic tees and thrift goods.

“My personal style is very open-minded and reflects where I grew up in San Francisco, plus the people I surround myself with, which includes some very stylish and cultured individuals,” says Goldn. “Being a child of the 2000s, I’m able to see everything from what’s hot right now to what’s happening on the internet. I look to Jimi Hendrix as my style inspiration from the 70s, Michael Jackson’s style from the 80s and 90s and Lenny Kravitz’s style during the 00s and I just put them all in my bag.

Technically, Goldn can claim style and creativity as part of his DNA, as both of his parents previously worked as professional fashion models. So it’s no wonder why the former University of Southern California standout has always kept fashion at the forefront of his mind, even going so far as to title his 2019 hit song after the legendary fashion designer, “Valentino.” Describing his combined love of music and fashion, he says: “I’m happy that I’m making art that I feel the world needs to hear, and I’m happy that people have been as open to me as they have been. ”

“I’m excited to keep creating and I’m determined to make my career work — by any means necessary — and show everyone that I can’t go to college and still be successful. Time will tell if I’m real about it and not new about it,” adds Goldn.
