Remember in the late 2000s when ballet flats were all the rage? If you’ve been keeping a pair or two in the back of your closet, rejoice, because dance-inspired designs and ballet flats in particular are officially in style once again. Shrink jackets, boleros and shrugs are everywhere now; Think of it as the inverse of the 2010s “cold soup” trend. These are great for spring layering when it’s not cold enough for a coat but not warm enough to go all out without a jacket.
