Assays have an extended deadline.


The closing date for the 2022 Assegai Integrated Marketing Awards has been changed to Wednesday 7 September 2022.

The move is due to the overwhelming number of entries received at the end of August, according to awards organizer DMASA.

After the events of the past two years, it is clear that there is great interest in participating in SA’s premier Integrated and Direct Marketing (IDM) Awards and we did not want arbitrary deadlines to get in the way of the rebirth of our industry. DMSA CEO David Dickens said.

The internationality of the DMSA, especially this year’s awards, may be the reason for the interest in entering Assegais. A line-up of overseas and domestic judges and this year’s partnership with the US National Advertising Association’s Eco Awards (ANA) means advertisers, marketers and other industry professionals are part of the Assegais. I don’t want to lose.

DMSA has hosted Southern Africa’s premier IDM Awards annually for the past 24 years. Entering is as easy as visiting the URL above and setting up a short entry.

Marketers in the following sectors can submit their goals: Automotive; Business products and services; consumer products; food and drink; health not for profit; publishing, media, entertainment and sports; retail; travel and accommodation; Technology and communication, and utilities.

Entrants are reminded that it is important that they choose the winners of the Gold Host Award category to be nominated for the Global Eco Awards.
