Central PA Electric Supply Company plans to acquire Ohio business


The Swatara-based electrical supplies wholesaler has announced plans to acquire an Ohio company.

Schadler Yesco Distribution has entered into an agreement to acquire Yesco Electric Supply. The companies expect the deal to close in February.

Yesco Electrical Supply is based in Columbiana, Ohio. The company has three locations in Pennsylvania and two in Ohio. The company supports the needs of the industrial, contractor, commercial and residential markets.

Schadler Yesco Distribution is a 98-year-old, fourth-generation family business with 21 locations in Pennsylvania and one location in New York. The company provides services and products for lighting, networking, automation and industrial needs.

“Our growth strategy in our Western region has always included geographic expansion,” Farah Mittel, president of Schedler Yesco Distribution, said in a news release. “YESCO’s culture and experienced team members complement our current structure and strategic initiatives as we continue to support our customers with valuable products and services.”

In the year In 2020, Schedler Yesco Distribution expanded to New York through the acquisition of Rexel USA.
