KINGSTON – July 26, 2022 – University of Rhode Island Professor Daniel Roxbury has been named to the Providence Business News 40 Under Forty list.
The award recognizes individuals under the age of 40 who have achieved excellence in their careers and involvement in their communities.
Roxbury, 36, is an associate professor of chemical engineering whose research focuses on biomedical and nanotechnology. He directs the College of Engineering’s Nanobioengineering Laboratory, which “investigates the interactions between these engineered nanomaterials and biological systems using a variety of imaging, spectroscopy and other analytical techniques.”
“I am humbled and honored to receive this award. There are many colleagues, students, friends and family I would like to thank for helping me get to this point in my career,” Roxbury said. “
He was presented with the award at a ceremony held at the Aldrich Mansion on Thursday, July 21 Warwick.
