“Let’s begin with news on director Sooraj Barjatya, who is back with another directorial, Uunchai. The film, which releases this Friday, also marks 75 years of the filmmaker’s banner Rajshri Productions. A star-studded screening of the movie took place in Mumbai on Wednesday. The event saw the likes of Salman Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Akshay Kumar, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Shehnaaz Gill, Madhuri Dixit, Mahima Chaudhry, Jaya Bachchan, Bhagyashree, Shakti Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh and Johny Lever among others in attendance.

Sooraj and the cast of the film, including Boman Irani, Anupam Kher and Sarika, were seen receiving the guests on the red carpet.


“Veteran actor Neena Gupta says Sooraj Barjatya is one of her favourite filmmakers and it was a dream come true to work with the director on his upcoming movie Uunchai.

The film centres on four friends in their twilight years, played by Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Danny Denzongpa.

Neena Gupta admitted she had made numerous visits to the director’s Rajshri Productions office for work during her days as a struggler

She said, “I felt fortunate that Sooraj Ji called me and gave me a role in a very nice script. My only aim was to give my best because I wanted to work with him for many years and now I had that opportunity. I love the films they make.”””
“Abhishek Bachchan, who is actively promoting his web series Breathe Into The Shadows Season 2, was recently asked about his plans to collaborate with his father, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan. Amitabh and Abhishek have previously worked together in films like Bunty Aur Babli, Paa and Sarkar but have not shared screen space since 2009.

When asked about a potential collaboration with his father, Abhishek told Pinkvilla, “I’d love that. I’d love to work with him again. Paa was the last time we worked together, released in 2009 so it’s long overdue. I’d love to do another film with him.”

Kartik’s trainer Samir Jaura told Hindustan Times how he was able to achieve the look in time with disciplined workouts and a correct diet plan, “Kartik is someone with a genetically lean body. So, when he was required to gain around 14 kilos for Freddy, we knew it was going to be a task. Putting on kilos requires a well-supervised process, because it is not just simply the shredding of muscles or getting ripped. He has done a fantastic job and the look came perfectly for the film,”

“Filmmakers Rhea Kapoor and Ektaa Kapoor recently announced their next project, The Crew, starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. The leading ladies did a classy photoshoot for a magazine to support the announcement. Now, Rhea has released a behind-the-scenes video where all the actors are getting ready and talking about the fun they are having on the shoot.

In the video, Tabu, Kareena and Kriti are seen getting ready for their photoshoot and in an impromptu interview they say that they are having fun, while Rhea adds in jest that she is already stressed.

Kareena also quips that “Rhea will go bald” by the time the film’s production is over.

The Crew will go on floors in February 2023.”
“On the 15th anniversary of Om Shanti Om’s release, director Farah Khan shared a blooper reel from the film, showcasing all the fun moments from the shoot.

In the blooper reel, SRK goofs up his dialogues and dance moves several times while Deepika is in splits. While shooting for the track “Deewangi” which featured popular Bollywood celebrities, Saif Ali Khan pretends to stare into the camera, and Karisma Kapoor almost falls while dancing. Salman Khan and Dharmendra also share an emotional hug. In another part of the reel, Arjun Rampal accidentally hits SRK with the mic, Kirron Kher bursts into a stream of abuses, and SRK falls while breaking the coconut.

” Actor Aamir Khan has stayed away from the public eye since his latest film Laal Singh Chaddha released in August. Released amongst much hype, the Advait Chandan film failed to make a mark at the box office at the time of its release. However, the film’s release on Netflix did generate some conversation.

Recently, Aamir was clicked as he offered his condolences to director Ashutosh Gowariker after his mother’s demise. Aamir and Ashutosh first collaborated in the 1995 film Baazi, and later made the 2001 film Lagaan.

As Aamir paid his last respects to the director’s late mother, fans couldn’t help but point out that the Dangal actor looked unrecognisable. One of the fans wrote, “I didn’t even recognise him.”

“Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has kickstarted the campaign for the British Academy Film Awards 2022 for his film Gangubai Kathiawadi. Starring Alia Bhatt in the lead role, Gangubai Kathiawadi turned out to be one of the biggest hits of the year in India.

The film will be submitted for all the key categories including – Best Film, Director, Adapted Screenplay, Leading Actress and Film Not in the English Language.

Bhansali will also be hosting a BAFTA Masterclass on November 28. He said about the international interest that the film has generated, “We are immensely blessed to have received so much appreciation for our film globally and we’re very excited to be part of the conversation this awards season amongst BAFTA voters.””

Ayushmann Khurrana unveiled his look from his next film An Action Hero on Wednesday. In the poster, Ayushmann is posing with a gun as he stands in front of a frame with commandos ready for a mission.

An Action Hero is Ayushmann Khurrana’s first action film. Directed by Anirudh Iyer, the movie was previously described as a “slick action and offbeat satire.”

In an earlier conversation with indianexpress.com, Ayushmann called An Action Hero a ‘genre-breaker’ for him. “My next is an action film, it is called Action Hero, and I am learning MMA for that and that’s going to be a big challenge for me because it is a genre-breaker for me,”

The film will hit theatres on December 2.”
