“Let’s begin this bulletin with news on one of Hindi cinema’s biggest superstars, Amitabh Bachchan, who turns 80 today.

Bachchan has been working for over five decades in showbiz and has not only worked in different film industries but has successfully dabbled in nearly all mediums, including but not limited to television. Many stars have cited him as an influence over the years, including Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan. Big B has constantly managed to reinvent himself over the years and keep himself relevant in a business which is all about change.

Amitabh Bachchan, who made his Bollywood debut in 1969 with Saat Hindustani for which he won a National Award for Best Newcomer, was last seen in the movie Goodbye.”
“Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn on Monday said he will soon commence filming for his next movie with Special 26 director Neeraj Pandey.

The duo announced in 2018 that they are collaborating on a feature film titled Chanakya, a historical drama on master economist and royal advisor to the first Mauryan emperor Chandragupta.

“@neerajpofficial and I are going to start our film together soon. And, this one will release worldwide in cinemas on June 16, 2023,” the actor tweeted, without divulging any details about the project.

In a February 2020 interview, Neeraj Pandey confirmed to PTI that the film was in pre-production and gearing to go on floors. The project got delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.”
“The David Dhawan directorial Mr and Mrs Khiladi, starring Juhi Chawla and Akshay Kumar in the lead roles, clocked 25 years on Sunday. On the occasion, Juhi, in a series of tweets, mentioned how she shot the initial 20 days in a brace as she had a torn ligament. She added that since the director also had knee issues, the two would go for physiotherapy sessions after the shoot. However, while filming for a song, Juhi slipped on the wet grass and fell. She wrote, “And in a flash, and I mean in a flash ..! Akshay was down beside me and saved me from twisting my leg again !!,”

Mr and Mrs Khiladi also starred Kader Khan and Paresh Rawal.”
“Sara Ali Khan recently bumped into her co-star Vicky Kaushal on a flight. Sharing a sweet picture from the meet-up, Sara also penned a rather sweet couplet for Vicky.

Expressing her delight over meeting Vicky and IAS officer-turned-actor Abhishek Singh, Sara posted an Instagram story, writing, “Nice to see you on this flight Missed you and your lovely height @vickykaushal09. While I sit with my seat tight, I wish I could be like @abhishek as it is who is always right Now time for a flight at an uuchi height.”

Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal will be seen playing the lead roles in Laxman Utekar’s upcoming film. The two bonded during the shoot and often posted photos and videos with each other.”
“It was a rare sight at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s star-studded reception when Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan joined forces to light up the dance floor with their dance moves. The arch rivals-turned-friends teamed up, hugged, and gave an entertaining performance while donning matching black outfits.

When Salman and Shah Rukh took over the stage, Bollywood actors such as Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, and Sonam, among others, just stood and watched them dance in ‘awe.’ The video also features Anil Kapoor who can be seen dancing energetically and seems astonished when Salman and Shah Rukh hug each other. It seems he was struck by FOMO as Anil hugged Salman right away.”
“Meanwhile,

After returning from a fashion event in Paris, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone has been in Tamil Nadu, promoting mental health awareness via her organisation called The Live Love Laugh Foundation.

On Monday, World Mental Health Day, Deepika took to Instagram to share a bunch of photos of herself interacting with people from Tamil Nadu.

She wrote, “Since our inception, we have been relentless in our efforts to improve the lives of those experiencing mental illness, as well as the lives of their caregivers. Expanding our rural outreach program to Tamil Nadu is one more important step towards making mental health care accessible and affordable for all. #worldmentalhealthday,”
“And finally,

The trailer of Phone Booth, starring Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi, is out.

The trailer sees Katrina Kaif as a ghost and has a mission for Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi who seem to be the desi version of Ghostbusters, and she wants them to take down an eerie Jackie Shroff or ‘Aatma Ram’ as he’s called. The film ticks off everything that one would expect from a Bollywood horror comedy, slapstick comedy, item songs, a female ghost with feet facing the other side and some questionable moments of seriousness thrown in. There is also a dig at poor Hindi, ironically delivered by Katrina herself.

The film is slated to hit the theatres on November 4, 2022.”
