“Let’s begin this bulletin with news from IFFI 2022.

Describing the controversial movie The Kashmir Files as “propaganda” and “vulgar”, the Israeli filmmaker and a jury chief at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), Nadav Lapid expressed his dismay at the inclusion of a propaganda film in the competition section.

Sharing the jury report during the closing ceremony of the 53rd edition of IFFI in Goa, Lapid said: We were disturbed and shocked by The Kashmir Files. That felt to us like a propaganda, vulgar movie, inappropriate for an artistic competitive section of such a prestigious film festival.”

“In other news: Actor Fawad Khan celebrates his 41st birthday today. Most famously known for his work in Humsafar and Zindagi Gulzar hai, he has been enjoying the massive success of his latest film “” The Legend of Maula Jatt””. Khan’s work in Bollywood films like Khoobsurat, playing lead opposite Sonam Kapoor, Kapoor & Sons with Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra and, a significant cameo role in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, was much loved.
Before he hit super stardom, one of his superstardom was in the 2001 sitcom “”Jutt & Bond””, where he played a bumbling spy, Bond. Even though, a rookie, Fawad stood out in the role. A few years later, he starred in Khuda Kay Liye, the first Pakistani film to ever be released in India.”
“Moving on, Kartik Aryan has recalled how he had to be a ‘loner’ on the sets of his latest film “”Freddy”” to prep for the role. He also revealed that he began to have strange thoughts, and sleepless nights and went from being a chirpy person to a quiet one. Kartik prepped for his character by visiting a dentist and working on mock patients. These experiences helped him delve deep into his character. He changed so drastically that his Shehzada director, Rohit Dhawan later pointed it out, and had to change schedules for him.
Freddy also stars Alaya F and will be released on December 2nd on Disney Hotstar.”
“Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog and posted a picture of a new bench installed in his late father Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s honour at his residence, Jalsa. The bench, in the shape of a book, is said to have been made in Poland. The actor wrote in his blog, “A bench made of stone in …Poland in the shape of a book – Madhushala .. intricate and most uniquely done .. weighs a ton ..””

He further wrote, “and in the remember of Babuji, how auspicious to have that bench installed today in our lawns at Jalsa..in his arms and mind and body do I sublimate myself .. in prayer in devotion in selfless immersion..””
“Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film “”Pathan”” is creating a lot of buzz since it’s trailer released. Before its release, the makers keep the internet interested by releasing tiny hints about the movie. Speaking about the actioner’s music, composed by Vishal- Shekhar, Pathaan director Siddharth Anand confirmed that at least two dance tracks from the movie will release sometime next month, therefore creating further buzz for the highly anticipated movie. No doubt, this is another strategy to hold back on revealing the plot of the film as much as possible.
Touted as Khan’s comeback vehicle, the much-anticipated film also stars Deepika Padukone and, John Abraham in a negative role. “
“Meanwhile, actor Ayushmann Khurana revealed that he needs to break away from issue-based films. After having found massive success, both critically and commercially from films like Bala, Article 15, and Badhaai Ho, the actor wants to steer clear of the genre. Right from his debut, in 2012’s hit film Vicky Donor, Khurana has been the go-to actor for playing ordinary men battling societal problems.
This is why, post-pandemic, he reconsidered his criteria for selecting scripts, signing An Action Hero, which was partly due to that change. An Action Hero, he said has no social message. “”It’s just pure thrill and entertainment.””
An Action Hero, also starring Jaideep Ahlawat and directed by debutant Anirudh Iyer, is set to release on December 2nd.”
“Filmmaker Karan Johar has penned an emotional note to honour 19 years of Kal Ho Naa Ho, a film that starred Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Priety Zinta. Kal Ho Naa Ho was in fact, the last film that Johar had spent time with his father, Yash Johar.
The film chronicled the love triangle between three individuals, Aman, Naina and Rohit in New York City. Aman sacrifices his love for Naina as he realises that he doesn’t have long to live, and plays matchmaker for her with her best friend, Rohit. The film was one of the biggest blockbusters of 2003, and like most of his other films, it became a prominent film in popular culture.”
“The new teaser from the upcoming film “”Cirkus”” is out and the film boasts an elaborate star cast – Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, Jaqueline Fernandes, Varun Sharma and supported by amazing veteran comedians, Tiku Talsania, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Mukesh Tiwari, Ashwini Kalsekar and Vrajesh Hirjee. Interestingly both Singh and Sharma will be seen in double roles.
Slated for a Christmas release, the film is set in the 60s and is going to likely be a “”comedy of errors””. This would be Ranveer Singh’s third time working with Rohit Shetty after Simba and his cameo in Sooryavanshi.”
