“Actor Ishaan Khatter spoke about his childhood and his parents’ separation in a recent interview and said that his life experiences have shaped him into who he is now. Ishaan said that nobody knows the full truth about what he went through as a child, but he is ‘proud’ of the experiences that he had as a child growing up with a single parent.
Ishaan is the son of actors Rajesh Khattar and Neliima Azeem. He is also the half-brother of actor Shahid Kapoor. Ishaan admitted that despite coming from a family of artists, his mother never ‘coaxed’ him to be an actor. He was recently seen in the horror-comedy Phone Bhoot. “
“Moving on, Yash Raj Films dropped a brand new still of Shah Rukh Khan from his upcoming action film Pathaan. The film marks the star’s highly anticipated return to starring roles after a gap of over four years. The still shows a brooding SRK brandishing a shotgun, and wearing combat gear. His long hair is flowing in the breeze, against a backdrop of several Dubai landmarks.
The star will reportedly play a spy in the film, whose trailer teased a Mission Impossible-style globe-trotting spectacle. Pathaan is said to be a part of a shared universe of spy films produced by YRF, which includes Salman Khan’s Tiger series, and the Hrithik Roshan-starrer War. Pathaan also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.”
“Due to the positive response to Uunchai, the makers of the film on Tuesday, 6th December, said the movie will not be available for streaming any time soon, as they want it to have “a strong and long-run” at the theatres. But a few days later, when the actor read the script for the film, an “”emotional dam burst open””. He said that they both connected “”over the rejections, the humiliations, the struggle and the reliance on one’s supportive family”” and worked their way up in the business. “Actor Vishal Jethwa had just tasted success in Bollywood after starring in television serials when the pandemic struck. He made an impressive debut with Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani 2 (2019) and was last seen in Disney+Hotstar’s Human.
In a recent interview, Vishal talked about how he accepted the long gap in his career induced by Covid-19 “in a practical manner”. He said that while it was frustrating, it was not only him or the film industry, but the whole world going through testing times. This actor is also excited about Salaam Venky, in which he’ll be playing the role of Venkatesh, who suffers from Duchenne muscular dystrophy. He called the film an inspiring one.”
“Lastly, Abhishek Bachchan recalled, in an interview, about getting a harsh reality check after a euphoric night out back in 2004. He remembered how dismissive people were of him, both inside and outside the film industry before he struck gold with the film.
Abhishek said that for the first time in his career, he felt like a star. But, hours later, when he reached home, he was greeted by none other than his father. And then it “”struck him””.
