In an interview with HT Lifestyle, Satyen Momaya, CEO India at Celio, highlighted that the trends for the AW collection include, “Fashionable options with comfortable silhouettes that keep the fashion quotient intact, unique and innovative fabric blends and weaves and innovation of on-trend design and meets the many needs of men’s wardrobes.”
According to him, the dominant trends seen and incorporated into the Fall Winter collection are:
1. Winter clothing – Sweatshirts are always the main product along with the normal lightweight sweaters we expect, textured and heavier sweaters are the new trend with a vibrant color palette.
2. Variant jacket – Denim hoodies seem to be really catching on along with the more earthy and dark brown stock of Sherpa jackets along with heavy parkas and reversible jackets and lightweight jackets.
3. Pants –
a) Drawstring pants and joggers are the new gold standard in the trousers and pants category
b) Jeans they are only gaining more momentum – The biggest offer in relaxed/regular, straight and thin, also the durability has increased significantly since the cotton used in the production process, including the dyes used etc. Also the heavy Canadian tuxedo look with denim jacket, shirt and skirt.
4. Shirt – Go for the range of shirts that offer a unique blend of weaves from grindle to precise oxford point, waffle and knit. The range of over-shirts is best suited for any casual occasion.
