Chiranjeevi starrer Godfather is one of the most anticipated projects arriving this year for various reasons. The film is a remake of the Mohanlal starrer Lucifer. The film is also the remake of the Malayalam movie Lucifer. Also, yet another intriguing fact about the film is that Chiranjeevi has featured for the first-time in salt and pepper look. The glimpse to introduce Chiranjeevi’s character and then the teaser garnered a lot of appreciation and now the makers revealed yet another poster from the film, which is of the leading lady Nayanthara.
First Look: Nayanthara plays Sathyapriya Jaidev In Chiranjeevi starrer Godfather
Speaking of Nayanthara, Godfather makers released the first look of the actress from the film. As for her role, a source close to the film said, “She plays the role of Sathyapriya Jaidev. Her looks will be traditional in a cotton linen checkered sarees. The latest poster features her in her character avatar as she appears bit intense since she is busy preparing a letter on the typewriter.”
Talking about the film, the audiences are excited to see two superstars together. Readers would be aware that Salman Khan is playing a mighty role in this mass action entertainer and photos of him along with Chiranjeevi have garnered ample curiosity. On the other hand, speaking about the rest of the star cast, Puri Jagannadh and Satya Dev will be the other prominent cast. While Mohan Raja is directing the movie, RB Choudary and NV Prasad are producing it under the banner Konidela Productions and Super Good Films. With Konidela Surekha is presenting it, the film is being mounted on lavish scale. Master cinematographer Nirav Shah is the part of the team whereas Suresh Selvarajan is the art director and S S Thaman is the music composer.
As for the release of the film, Godfather will be releasing during Dasara on October 5th, this year.
