– Michelle Grover has been named the first chief technology officer of Slalom, a Seattle-based global business and technology consulting firm. Grover previously served as chief information officer for Twilio, and was most recently interim chief information and digital officer at First Order Financial Services. She was also Senior VP of Software Development for TripIt and Mobile at SAP Concur.
Founded in 2001, Slalom has more than 13,000 employees worldwide and more than 1,000 employees in its Seattle office. Grover, based in the Bay Area, joins the slalom Oct. 1.
“Michelle is a leader who can quickly identify opportunities and provide simple solutions to complex issues,” Slalom President Tony Rojas said in a statement.
– Gregory Davies is the CEO of electric aircraft manufacturer Aviation. He has served as interim CEO since February as the company transitions into the production phase of the aircraft. Davis will continue in his role as president since last May.
Davis previously served as vice president of customer service and product support for Viking Air Ltd., a provider of utility aircraft and manufacturer of Twin Otter aircraft. He also held engineering positions at Marshall Aerospace and Defense Group and is a commercial licensed pilot.
“Gregory has a deep understanding of aerospace engineering and a genuine passion for aviation,” Aviation Chairman Alan Page said in a statement. “Under his leadership, the team has made remarkable progress in preparing the Alice for the upcoming first flight of our all-electric passenger aircraft, as well as our FAA certification and commercialization goals.”
In September, the Arlington, Wash.-based company announced that Miami-based air charter operator GlobalX had signed a letter of intent to order 50 Alice passenger jets. First delivery is scheduled for 2027.
