Georgia Tech vs. Ole Miss: Live updates, scores, results, highlights, for Saturday’s NCAA football game

The Ole Miss Rebels have enjoyed their last two games at home, but now they have to go on the road. They will face off against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Bobby Dodd Stadium at historic Grant Field on Saturday at 3:30 pm ET. Ole Miss doesn’t have home-field advantage, but they do have a 16.5-point advantage in the spread.

If you outplay your opponent every quarter, you can get good results, and that’s exactly how it played out for the Rebels last week. At Central Arkansas, the Bears easily took the contest at home with a 59-3 win. The game was already over with no possessions on the Ole Miss 31. Ole Miss’ TE Michael Trigg has been one of the most active players for the team, snagging three receiving TDs. Trigg didn’t help the team much against the Troy Trojans two weeks ago, so this was a nice change for him.

Meanwhile, although it wasn’t a landslide, last week’s matchup between Georgia Tech and the Western Carolina Catamounts was still very decisive as Georgia Tech won 35-17 at home. The team won by collecting 28 points in the first half. RB Donta Smith was a standout offensively for Georgia Tech, rushing for three TDs and 102 yards on 11 carries. Smith put himself on the highlight reel with a 51-yard TD scramble in the first quarter.

Their wins put the Rebels 2-0, the Yellow Jackets 1-1. We’ll see which team can carry the success and which team will fall when Ole Miss and Georgia Tech collide.
