Global Fashion Collective x MFW S/S23 *Designer Release*

VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA, Sept. 19, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — For the first time, the Global Fashion Collective (GFC) will host a runway showcase during Milan Fashion Week (MFW). On September 25, the GFC x MFW exhibition will feature four international designers from Mexico, South Korea and Canada. The GFC aims to highlight emerging designers and provide them with a platform during the world’s most prestigious fashion weeks. This organization has previously presented at New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week and Tokyo Fashion Week.

CEDIM School of Design was founded by Alejandro García Villarreal and has specialized in teaching arts, design, innovation and business in Mexico since 1978. This institution believes that creativity is innate in all of us and has no limits once discovered. Leesle was created by South Korean designer Leesle Hwang. She specializes in using a neo-modern perspective to reimagine the unique structures, patterns and details of traditional clothing with a 5,000-year history, such as the Korean hanbok. Hwang has collaborated with Samsung Mobile and KIA Motors, been featured in The New York Times, and appeared in runway shows around the world. She is a rising star in Korean design and a representative of the increasingly popular modern hanbok movement. Faun Studio is a Calgary-based contemporary womenswear brand founded by Marisa P. Clark in 2017. Her designs have appeared in New York and Paris fashion weeks and have been featured in Vanity Fair and Refinery 29. Earlier this year, Clark was voted the winner among top Canadian designers in Vote Couture for the Cure, for her signature dress made entirely from toilet paper. Her latest collection features luxurious knitwear in natural earthy tones and features a desert-inspired print. These garments are comfortable and designed with a strong focus on durability. BlueTamburin is a leading force in the Korean fashion industry and is one of the first Korean brands to be invited to all four major fashion weeks. The label was created by designer Bomin Kim with the brand philosophy of “supporting beauty in the mind, discovering beauty in the world”. Blue Tamburin’s latest collection embraces personal uniqueness, self-expression, freedom and boldness while harmonizing it with ideas of social formality.
