GUESS Uses Matterport Digital Twins to Improve Retail Operations – Retail Technology Innovation Center

GUESS adopted Matterport Digital Twins/AI to maintain store brand consistency and create immersive, virtual experiences for its employees, shoppers and wholesale partners.

It uses digital twins (photo-realistic digital copies of stores) to ensure all retail staff have the most up-to-date inventory information and to make quick and efficient updates to their individual store layouts.

Introduce new employees to the GUESS brand and stores, improve their onboarding process, create virtual experiences for shoppers with digital twins of the new showrooms, thereby reducing the need for expensive travel.

“Bricks and mortar retailers still face a lot of uncertainty, but digital twinning has allowed us to scale our operations globally and build exciting virtual experiences that set us up for long-term success,” said Jacqueline De Antonano of Project Training & Coaching. Development, by GUESS

“Whether we’re onboarding new employees or making improvements to our store displays, brand consistency is critical.”

“With Matterport’s digital twins at our Los Angeles headquarters, merchandising teams can create clear guidelines for our stores around the world, and new hires can easily become familiar with our brand. Additionally, creating digital twins of our showrooms helps us deliver a seamless, virtual experience to shoppers.”
