Hailee Steinfeld continued to celebrate her birthday week in a series of hot photos shared on the “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” star’s Instagram account on December 14. Just three days after celebrating her 26th year around the sun in a brilliant silver. Slip Dress Steinfeld posed in a sheer criss-cross and lace mini dress from David Koma’s resort 2023 collection. The collection’s central motif, an iris flower, appeared twice in Steinfeld’s ensemble—once as a hand-embroidered 3D metallic embellishment at the base of the gown’s plunging neckline and again around her neck on a silver chain.

Balancing elements of femininity, elegance and structure, the sleeveless dress, which Steinfeld styled in black underwear, featured a semi-sheer skirt with angled cut-outs at the waist set under a sheer lace appliqué. On either side of the massive cutouts, the dress billowed in a ruffled, peplum design. With guidance from fashion designers Dani + Emma, she teamed the outfit with knee-high boots to a chrome top; silver drop earrings; and a set of David Koma lace gloves in black. In one photo, she also wore the mini dress under a black blazer, with five-button detailing along the cuffs.
Steinfeld completed the look with silky waves, brushed brows and a neutral lip. “Happy birthday weekend,” her makeup artist, Ash K Holm, commented on photos of her look, along with party emojis and starry eyes emojis. Admiring the finished ensemble, the Edge of Seventeen star’s stylist Laura Polko added: “What a mood.” With two stunning outfits already in the books for her 26th year, we can’t wait to see what other wardrobe gems Steinfeld has in store.
