Here’s the Fashion Festival Wear at LA3C in LA this weekend – Source Magazine

Los Angeles is home to a variety of styles fueled by subcultures and Gen Z, and they were on display at LA3C, Penske Media Corporation’s (PMC) first culture and creative festival. PMC is Sourcing Journal and Rivet’s parent company.

The two-day festival took place from December 10 to 11 at the Los Angeles State Historic Park with a wide musical lineup of all genres of music ranging from hip-hop to K-pop. Headliners include Lil Baby, Snoop Dogg, Seventeen and Maluma.

Skater style and raver fashion collided on the main stage.

Cargo pants—one of the “viral staples” Trendalytics is tracking this season—served a functional purpose for carrying festival essentials. Favorite styles from tulle work pants with exposed and hidden zippers to colorful nylon parachute skirts styled with crop tops or corsets.

Cargo pants and wallet chains were nods to ’90s SoCal skate culture, as well as the pairing of cargo pants and vans. Other styles were convertible with pant legs that could be closed with a bungee cord or completely closed.

Key accessories were paired with varsity jackets, black denim jackets and puffer coats. Attendees were also spotted wearing insulated vests with cargo pocket details.

The quirky world of K-pop fashion made its presence known with festival goers rocking pleated skirts and printed ensembles. Meanwhile, the DJs took to the stage in daring looks from fishnet pants to 90s fluffy bra tops.

Jeans were worn loose with slits, light washes and cargo pockets. Others styled low-rise jeans with cropped tops.

Denim jackets, shawls and long-sleeved dresses were versatile options for the unpredictable weather, as were racing jackets and faux fur coats.
