Is Apple working on an Android app for Apple TV?

Apple also works on the Android version of the Apple TV app. Currently, Android users have no choice but to use tv.apple.com in their browsers for Apple TV services.

If ShrimpApplePro, who actually leaked Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro, is anything to go by, the Cupertino tech giant is currently testing the app internally.

This makes life much easier for Apple TV users on Android. Until now, there was no other option but to use Apple TV’s services on their Android phones.

According to MacRumors, the app will give Android users access to the MLS Season Pass next year. The Major League Soccer (MLS) season pass currently broadcasts all matches on Apple TV, as part of a 10-year deal between the league and Apple.

So far, Apple TV has a separate app for Android TV and Chromecast via Google Fence. Other platforms with access to a separate Apple TV app include Sony’s PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Roku stick, Amazon Fire TV stick and select smart TVs from Sony, LG, Samsung and Vizio.
