4. Women at the dawn of film: African women will lead the future of filmmaking.

Women now have more financial muscle in an industry where they were largely economically marginalized. New stories of today’s African women with great voices are emerging around the world. Join industry advocates as they discuss the social, ethical and professional issues women face in the film and television industry. The power of conversation is the spark that ignites the creative revolution. Join the discussions in the MIP Africa Theater on Friday, August 25, 10:00 to 12:00.
