Jenkins ready for Hula Bowl – Football – Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

The plates – Georgia Tech wide receiver EJ Jenkins (Fredricksburg, Va./Chancellor HS) is participating in the 2023 Tunnel to Towers Foundation Hula Bowl in Orlando this week, leading five former Yellow Jackets selected to showcase their talents in the postseason All-Star Games next month.

In his only season at Tech, the 6-foot-7, 243-pound Jenkins caught 17 passes for 316 yards and three touchdowns as a redshirt senior in 2022. He tied for the team lead with three touchdown passes.

Jenkins plays 77 for Team Aina on SaturdayTh– The annual Hula Bowl, which begins at noon at FBC Mortgage Stadium in Orlando and is televised nationally on the CBS Sports Network. Jenkins’ team is coached by former Atlanta Falcons head coach Mike Smith. In addition to Saturday’s game, the Hula Bowl featured practices throughout the week from personnel from the 32 national football teams, as well as spectators from the USFL, XFL and Canadian Football League.

In addition to Jenkins, former Jackets wide receivers set to participate in postseason All-Star games include Malachi Carter and linebacker Ind. Elay At the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl (January 28 – Pasadena, Calif.), linebacker Charlie Thomas East-West Temple game (February 2 – Las Vegas) and defensive lineman Keon White Senior Bowl (Feb. 4 – Mobile, Ala.). Earlier this week, running back Hassan Hall He participated in a college gridiron showcase at a five-day all-star event in Fort Worth, Texas, which gave him the opportunity to work in front of pro scouts.
