Fans of Bollywood comedy movies have been waiting for the third installment of the ‘Hera Pheri’ franchise for a really long time. While makers have confirmed that ‘Hera Pheri 3’ is going to happen soon, much to the dismay of fans, Akshay Kumar is not going to be a part of it. However, actor Kartik Aaryan has joined the cast of the sequel and fans are assuming that he is going to replace Akshay just like he did in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’.
For the whole time, Kartik was silent on this matter but during a recent promotional interview for his film ‘Freddy’, he was asked to share his feelings about being in ‘Hera Pheri 3’. The actor told The Indian Express, “I am still surprised! That’s it.”
The success of Kartik’s last film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ has made him one of the most sought after actors of Bollywood and he himself believes that this success and recognition has given his more energy for his upcoming projects. He stated, “It gives it all the more energy. Shehzada is getting more empowered because of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Freddy is getting more empowered because of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s success. Contrary to the pressure or the nervousness, I am getting more energy.”
