“We are very excited to add Flores to our staff,” Adair said. “She has great experience working with teams and is a quality person who fosters team culture. She helps keep us all moving in the right direction and covers the logistics of the job. And I look forward to her impact on our culture and our family!”
A former DIII women’s soccer goalkeeper, Flores was named the CAC Defensive Player of the Week and earned second-team all-conference honors while attending St. Mary’s College in Maryland from 2015-2019. As a student, she won the Dean’s List all four years. She graduated from the University of North Carolina last spring with a Master of Science in Kinesiology.
““I am thrilled to have this opportunity to be a part of the Virginia Tech women’s soccer team,” said Flores. All I can!”
Flores comes to Virginia Tech with two years of experience as the head coach of the University of North Carolina-Greensboro women’s soccer team from 2020-22. For the past nine years, she has worked with coaches at the Pipeline Soccer Club in Lutherville, Maryland, organizing training sessions for field athletes and goalkeepers.
