Kim Jones x Fendi SS23 Collection for Milan Fashion Week

Pulling double duty this season, Kim Jones has stepped up Fendi’s presence for fashion month – first showing Fendi’s collection during New York Fashion Week and now unveiling his new designs for the house collection Spring/Summer 2023 in Milan.

As a clean break from the heavy multi-faceted, street style aesthetic seen on his NYFW runway (designed alongside Silvia Venturini, Marc Jacobs, Porter, Tiffany & Co. and Sarah Jessica Parker), Jones created this SS23 collection with a softer approach and a lighter palette, using green in different shades and formats.

Familiar fabrics like rich satins and sheer chiffons made a comeback, along with frilly silks, striped cottons and soft wools. With green as a base, the color was featured throughout the collection in neon (floral appliqué, knee-high boots and shift dresses), olive (tulle tunic, chain-front scarf and handbag) and moss (trousers and tote bag shoulder).

Adding to the collection’s color spectrum, Jones also used crushed primary hues like pink and true blue to round out the 60+ runway looks.

Additionally, with a heavy focus on shoes and accessories for spring, the house introduced several new trendy options for women, including open-toe stacked heel slides, knee-high boots, a platform sneaker, and a pointed fur bag. Stitched logo tape detail.

The full SS23 Fendi women’s collection can be viewed on the label’s website.
