Spherion Staffing and Recruiting recently presented a $1,000 check to the Lycoming County SPCA as part of their annual community giving back program. Additionally, from now until December 29th, all Williamsport residents are invited to participate in a donation drive for pet supplies. The organization is looking for the following items: dye-free dog food, soft dog treats, dog chew toys, cat food, kitten milk replacer, cat litter (clay type), laundry detergent, dryer sheets, cleaners, heavy duty garbage bags, litter Papers, paper towels, blankets, postcards.
The SPCA of Lycoming County aims to protect all pets in Lycoming County by providing shelter, emergency treatment, investigation and prosecution of cruelty or abuse complaints, adoption and counseling, educational programs and humane care.
