Models show off African prints at a fashion event

Entrepreneurs and fashion enthusiasts gathered at the Grand Ballroom of Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos, for the African Print Part; an event to celebrate African fashion.

The event is part of the activities marking the African Print Festival, which is usually held in several African countries to facilitate the patronage of local brands.

The event, which was anchored by TV presenter Amanda Dara, featured a fashion showcase that enabled designers to showcase their designs in rich and colorful designs. The models were adorned with various luxurious African prints and styles, ranging from adire to lace, ankara, aso oke and hats (gele). The show was organized.

At the end of the event, there was an exhibition where various African print and design vendors displayed their products for sale. Products included shoes, bags, clothing and fashion accessories; all in African prints.

Several corporate brands, such as Guinness and Eva wine, were also on hand to support the African fashion industry by serving drinks to guests at the event.
