Zee TV’s show, Kumkum Bhagya which kicked off with Sriti Jha and Shabbir Ahluwalia, now features Krishna Kaul, Mugdha Chaphekar, Tina Philip, Aparna Mishra and Reyhna Pandit in lead roles. With the latest plots and twists revolving around the second generation of stars where Rhea is seen creating havoc in Prachi’s life ensuring that Ranbir and Prachi don’t get together. With the recent track revolving around Ranbir deciding to get Prachi and Siddharth married, the episodes are currently all about their engagement. Recently, when we got a glimpse of Mughda’s look from her onscreen engagement and it reminded us of bride Alia Bhatt.

The resemblance is quite strong! Donning a rather extravagant white and golden saree, Mugdha looked flawless and was ecstatic about once again dressing up as a bride. Stepping out from Prachi’s regular avatar, Mugdha left everyone on set amazed with her new, classy, and serene look. Speaking about her look, Mugdha said, “I would give all the credit to my creative team for giving me such a rich and elegant ensemble for the engagement sequence. While most of the brides select bright colors, we wanted to keep this look very subtle and classy. In fact, when the team was deciding on the outfit, they had Alia Bhatt’s wedding look in mind, and used that as a reference for the engagement look.”
She went on to add, “The beautiful white and golden saree with a heavy necklace and a ‘Maang Tikka’ created a rich look, I loved it. I have been getting so many compliments for this look, that I just can’t wait for the viewers to watch the upcoming track.”
While we are excited to watch Prachi in this new bridal avatar, fans are wondering if Prachi and Siddharth will really get engaged or will Prachi reveal Rhea’s truth in front of the family? Kumkum Bhagya airs from Monday to Friday at 9 pm, on Zee TV.
