Music platform Coke Studio returns to South Africa


Beverage giant Coca-Cola has brought its international music platform Coke Studio to South Africa.

The Global Coke Studio program is digital-first, and provides an opportunity for creative talent to partner, deliver new and unique creative collaborations to new and existing audiences. The platform builds on a program launched in Pakistan in 2008.

Launched internationally in May this year, Coke Studios has brought together seven international artists to recreate the Queen’s image.A kind of magic“under the title”The leader. Local artists include DJ and producer DJ Zinhle, rapper Focalistic, R&B and soul singer Loiso, piano duo Amarotto, hip hop and R&B duo MajorSteez; and piano star Ch’ccoAlot.

Coke Studio’s goal is to deliver musical experiences “unlike anything seen before,” which speaks to a new generation of listeners who want to immerse themselves in the digital-future world of music.
