Fordham Lincoln Center students volunteer and attend fashion shows across the city for New York Fashion Week
From the corridors of Lowenstein to the runways across Manhattan, Fordham students are taking advantage of events across the city for this year’s New York Fashion Week (NYFW). This year’s NYFW runs from September 7th to September 14th, with designers such as Christian Siriano, Rebecca Minkoff, Prabal Gurung, Cynthia Rowley and Tory Burch showcasing their spring season designs.
The main location for the events took place at Spring Studios at 50 Varick St., but exhibitions and runway shows took place throughout Manhattan.
Fordham students participated in a variety of ways—from spectating to volunteering, there were plenty of opportunities for anyone interested in the world of fashion.
Isabella Scipioni, FCLC ’23 and opinion editor for The Observer, attended a show by Punk Majesty, a fashion company founded by Alicia Amnesia.
