Plates – No. 7 Georgia Tech Volleyball (6-2) will host No. 12 Pitt (7-2) at McMish Pavilion on Oct. 9 at 2 p.m., as previously announced. The top-15 contest between the Yellow Jackets and Panthers at The Thrillerdome will be broadcast on the ACC Network.
The game will go down in Yellow Jacket history as the first volleyball match at McMish Pavilion since the Alexander Memorial Coliseum was remodeled and renovated. The White and Gold last competed at Alexander Memorial Coliseum during the 1994 season.
Fans are encouraged to wear gold as the match serves as this season’s “Gold Out”. A gold t-shirt gift with the match will be used on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tech has sold out all five home matches this season with the GT Invitational and the Georgia Tech Classic. In the year In 2021, the Yellow Jackets have sold out nine of their last 10 regular season games along with both first and second round NCAA Tournament games at the Flats.
Georgia Tech, the fourth-highest ranked No. 7 in program history, next heads to Georgia (9-1) for this year’s pure, old-fashioned rivalry Saturday at 7 p.m. at Stegeman Coliseum.
