The film Odd Couple has been premiered at many prestigious film festivals all over the world and it has received some great responses at its premieres. The film stars Divyenndu Sharma – who rose to fame after portraying the character of Munna Bhaiya in the web series Mirzapur – as the male lead. The film also stars Vijay Raj, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi and Pranati Rai Prakash. The film is produced by Praneet Verma who is an independent filmmaker and directed by Prashant Johari. The film is co-written by Praneet and Prashant .

The makers of Odd Couple wanted their film to reach a wider range of audience through an OTT platform, which were the first choice of several filmmakers in times of the COVID-19 pandemic to release. Makers of Odd Couple had similar thoughts, and are therefore wanting to reach a larger audience through Amazon Prime.
The editor of this film is Prakash Jha who says that editing is that part of films which gives him the feeling of creating a garland by connecting hundreds of flowers together. He says he gets immense happiness after seeing a film in its complete form where he has created it by joining all the pieces together. Speaking of independent films, he says that these films are a whole world within themselves, and working on such films gives him a lot of happiness because it almost feels like revolutionary work .
The cinematographer of Odd Couple is Srijit Basu, who considers his experience of working on the film as a great learning experience. He says he is grateful to Prashant and Praneet that he got this kind of opportunity at an early stage in his career. For Srijit, it was a constant exploration while pushing boundaries as well as learning his craft through the principal photography of the film.
Odd Couple is a comedy film with the essence of love and relationships in modern times. The story of the film revolves around two couples of different age groups who are very different from each other but are brought together by fate to solve their problems. The film stars Manoj Pahwa, Saharsh Shukla, Sumit Gulati and Chirag Singla in various roles along with other actors.
