After 45 years in business, the owners of the old Main Frame Shop and Gallery are retiring at the end of 2022 and are looking for a buyer interested in continuing their shop’s longtime State College location tradition.

In a joint statement, Janet McKenna and Marie Librizzi said they will retire on Dec. 31 and look forward to “greater adventures in the coming years.”

“As customers and friends, you have been a huge part of our success over 45 years in business and we would like to extend our sincere thanks,” they wrote. “Our customers, colleagues and friends have given us many fond memories that we will always carry with us.”

The custom frame shop and art gallery is open through Nov. 30 at 2766 W. College Ave. On site or online at oldmainframe.com.

Old Main Frame Shop was originally located at 136 E. College Ave. Located at Mid-State College. Moving to where it was at the beginning of 2020.

The retirements of McKenna and Librizzi open up an opportunity for the right buyer.

“Custom imaging is a booming industry that has expanded and evolved in recent years,” they write. “The old main frame shop is a turnkey small business.
This would be a great opportunity for anyone looking to grow their existing customer base, including inventory, equipment and tools.
A successful small business in the positive economic environment of State College and Penn State University.
