All over TikTok, different examples are being shared as a new must-have for women’s clothing. Gen Z isn’t losing interest in the “faithless” for style inspiration; after low-rise jeans and the butterfly motif, it’s the parachute pants that are returning to the limelight. The passion for the Y2K aesthetic continues to dig out pieces that were left at the bottom of the closet – and that some of us hoped we would never see again! That’s right, none other than the parachute pants – that extremely baggy, shapeless garment that can be cinched at the ankles, made in the unique material like nylon, is being seen on the streets. Since the pandemic and its endless days at home, a growing number of people – including young people – have embraced sportswear and comfortable clothes.
