Rishab Shetty’s Kantara has been going places ever since it hit theatres on September 30. Along with wreaking havoc at the box office, the action thriller is also garnering humongous praises from members of the entertainment fraternity.
After the likes of Rana Daggubati and Dhanush lauded Rishab’s maiden directorial venture, Prabhas took to his social media to hail the Kannada film as an ‘extraordinary experience’. Mentioning that he watched Kantara twice, the pan-India superstar recommended everyone to catch the film on the big screen.

“Watched #Kantara for the second time and what an extraordinary experience it has been! Great concept and a thrilling climax. A must watch film in theatres!!!” Prabhas wrote.

Before Prabhas, KGF series director Prashanth Neel had taken to Twitter to give his verdict on Kantara. He tweeted, “My all time new favourite movie #Kantara directed by the divine @shetty_rishab, Produced by @hombalefilms is Releasing in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil & Malayalam. A must-watch!”

Earlier, congratulating Rishab for his latest venture, Dhanush had written, “Kantara .. Mind blowing !! A must watch .. Rishab Shetty , you should be very proud of yourself. Congratulations hombale films .. keep pushing the boundaries. A big hug to all the actors and technicians of the film. God bless.”

After the smashing success of the Kannada version, the makers of Kantara decided to release the film in other languages as well. The Hindi version of Kantara arrived in theatres today alongside Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet Singh’s Doctor G and Parineeti Chopra and Harrdy Sandhu’s Code Name: Tiranga.

Aside from Rishab, Kantara also features Sapthami Gowda, Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, Pramod Shetty, and others in pivotal roles.
