Priya Boyington was named the Under 40 from Georgia Tech

Former Chattanooga Priya Boyington has been named to the Georgia Tech Alumni Association’s 2022 Class of 40 Under 40. This annual program “showcases how tech graduates worldwide are impacting all industries and working to improve the way we live with hard work and knowledge from a young age.”

Mrs.

Boyington was also named to this prestigious list this year.

She graduated from GPS and grew up in Chattanooga. While at GPS, she created Tingourmet, an online children’s restaurant review, combining her two loves – food and technology. It was a feature on Chattanoogan.com. She was also the winner of then-Mayor Ron Littlefield’s creative contest. She was a President’s Scholar at Georgia Tech.

Mrs. Boyington found her passion for opening new businesses. She currently leads the new vertical consumer at DoorDash, growing the company’s grocery, convenience and alcohol verticals nationwide.

She has spent the past decade in business from under-served markets and those on the cutting edge of innovation, including Menopause Territory, a menopause skin care line; HIKI, genderless sweat line; Stitch Fix Kids; and Stitch Fix Freestyle, a direct shopping offering.

After studying abroad at Oxford, she began her career at Bain & Company, where she took an externship at GoldieBlox to inspire girls to pursue engineering — a passion she developed at Georgia Tech.

She is the daughter of successful entrepreneurs, Dr. Dane and Sheila Boyington of Chattanooga.
