Queen Elizabeth II died at her Balmoral home on September 8, 2022, aged 96, after a 70-year reign — the longest in British history.

During Her Majesty’s historic time on the throne, we saw the monarch’s style change over and over again.

From 50s dresses to 80s style ensembles and colorful fur coats, the Queen never failed to make a fashion statement. She once said it “had to be seen to be believed”, hence her penchant for bright colors that stood out in a crowd.
