Bollywood celebrities’ real estate deals often make the headlines. Recently Ranveer Singh bought a house worth Rs. 119 crores in Resham Building at Bandra bandstand. Now Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha have bought a luxurious triplex apartment in Juhu from Janhvi Kapoor. The actress sold her apartment to Roohi co-star Rajkummar and Patralekha for the whopping price of Rs. 43.87 crores.
The flat is on the 14th, 15th, and 16th floors of Juhu’s Araya building. The apartment is located in the Hatkesh Society within the Juhu-Vile Parle Development Scheme (JVPD). The triplex is spread over 3,456 sq. ft as per documents accessed by SquareFeatIndia.com and offers the new owners 6 parking slots. The deal between the Dhadak actress and the CityLights actors was finalized on March 31, 2022, but it was registered on July 21, 2022. This would be Rao’s fifth home in Mumbai. His previous flat also got featured in Asian Paints
Meanwhile, the new owners paid Rs. 2.19 crore as stamp duty. Interestingly there is a hike in the amount of stamp duty as two years ago Kapoor paid Rs. 78 lakhs as stamp duty. The reason for the difference in the amount of stamp duty is due to the three percent concession offered by the state government to home buyers between September 2020 to December 2020 to boost construction in the city as per the Hindustan Times.
Earlier, when the Gunjan Saxena actress bought this triplex in December 2020 for Rs 39 crore she was amongst the youngest Bollywood celebrities to make an opulent purchase.
