Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. The soon-to-be parents Ranbir and Alia are currently busy promoting their first collab together, Brahmastra. RK was questioned regarding his comment ‘phailod’ on Alia Bhatt which was termed ‘insensitive’ and he was slammed on social media. He even apologized for his comment.

Today, Ranbir Kapoor attend the promotional event of Brahmastra in Chennai with Nagarjuna and SS Rajamouli. In the event, he was quizzed about his comment on his wife Alia. He was asked, “Recently you on insta live you said something about Alia and some fans were upset. You would like to throw some clarifications further.”

Responding to the question he smiled and looked at Nagarjuna, he quipped, Yes Absolutely, firstly let me start with I love my life (laughed) wife with everything I have in my life. What happened on that I think is a joke which didn’t turn out to be funny. I really want to apologize to anyone, if I have triggered anyone. It was not my intention so I say sorry about it, whoever got offended out of it. I spoke to Alia about it she really laughed it off. She didn’t mind it. But I have a bad sense of humor sometimes that kind of falls  flat on my face sometimes.”

For the unversed, during the live session, while promoting Brahmatra virtually, they were quizzed about not going on a multi-city tour to promote the upcoming film. Replying to this, Alia said, “ We will promote the film, and we will be everywhere but if the question you are asking is why we are not phailod everywhere, right now our focus is…” Ranbir cut her in the middle of the conversation and pointed at his wife’s baby bump and said, “Well, I can say somebody has phailod.”

Speaking about the film, the stellar cast includes legendary Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni besides Ranbir and Alia.
