Actress Rasika Duggal is well known for her performances in OTT and indie projects and these days she is busy filming for season three of the widely popular Amazon Prime show ‘Mirzapur’. The actress is also busy with the promotions of season 2 of Netflix thriller ‘Delhi Crime’. In a recent media interaction, Rasika talked about reprising a character in sequels and stated that it is more challenging for writers than it is for actors
She told PTI, “There are series like ‘Delhi Crime’ and ‘Mirzapur’ so it is easy to pick up the characters from season to season. When you are picking up a role from one season to another, the difficult part rests with the writers. It’s difficult when the characters are already introduced and then you have to make those characters go somewhere else.”
Rasika further added, “But for actors, it’s much more comfortable because after a season when you come back, you are like you know them (characters). They have only changed a little bit but we still know what they are and we understand them.”
Starring Shefali Shah in the lead, ‘Delhi Crime’ season 2 will start streaming on Netflix from 26th of August.
