Nose for the News by Sarah Stultz

It’s safe to say that every week there is a business celebrating an anniversary in the community.

Our business community is generally very active, and it’s exciting to see businesses reaching these milestones.

This week I wanted to remind the readers of this space that you have many opportunities to advertise your business in the newspaper and we are happy to share the events of your company with the community.

Do you have a new company? Have you celebrated an anniversary? Has your company hired a new employee? Has your company changed ownership?

We love to hear about it all and share that with our readers.

Businesses are always welcome to submit short articles about events and photos at your company.

For particularly popular changes, tell us the story idea, and we might follow up with a more in-depth staff story about it.

Do you have an employee who goes out with their colleagues or customers?

Throughout the year, we often look for people who are doing great things in their own spheres of influence, and we want to hear about these individuals.

Speaking of business news, we’re working on our annual Impact Special that focuses on business and industry in the community. There are a few new businesses we’re looking forward to highlighting in this section, as well as businesses that have seen significant growth over the past year.

There is a lot happening in our community in this area, and we hope to keep you informed of all that is happening.

Don’t be afraid to get any information you have and use the word of mouth we can provide. Feel free to email ideas at sarah.stultz@albertleatribune.com.
