As the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi begun from Wednesday, film celebrities took to social media to spread joy among their fans. While many celebrities such as Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar, Ekta Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit wished their fans through social media, others celebrities such as Shah Rukh Khan, Kartik Aaryan and Kapil Sharma either went out for darshan or welcomed Ganpati home. Every year, many celebrities celebrate the festival by bringing home a Ganesh idol and praying for good luck and prosperity and one such celeb is Shilpa Shetty. This year too she made sure to welcome Lord Ganesha at her residence.
Shilpa Shetty slays in pre-draped leriya saree worth Rs. 47K for Ganpati celebrations
Shilpa Shetty posted a post on her Instagram account yesterday wishing everyone a happy occasion. She was dressed traditionally, as were her husband Raj Kundra and their two children. Raj Kundra opted for a pink Kurta Pyjama, while Shilpa Shetty opted for a sophisticated multi-layered saree and a golden nose ring. Shilpa’s outfit is from the shelves of Punit Balana. She wore a pre draped leheriya saree in hues of pink, green, grey, aubergine and ochre, with an olive green palla. The saree comes with a heavy marodi work blouse and a hand worked belt. Her saree is worth Rs. 47,500.
For accessories, Shilpa wore silver choker earrings, nose-ring and green bangles. Leaving her tresses open with gentle curls and middle partition, the actor opted for nude makeup with kohled eyes and nude lip tint. She rounded off her look with Punjabi juttis.
In terms of work, Shilpa Shetty was last seen in Nikamma. Next, she will be seen in the movie Sukhee. She will make her OTT debut with Indian Police Force, which will stream on Amazon Prime Video.
