This virtual gathering brings together entrepreneurship educators from around the world who practice Lean innovation in their classrooms, accelerators, venture studios, and student-driven ventures.
The title of the conference is “Education and Innovation in an Age of Chaos and Violence.“
Our students face challenges in a rapidly changing, chaotic and uncertain world. A world on the brink of climate change, supply chain disruptions, political instability and continued technological innovation and disruption. It is up to us as educators to provide the next generation with the tools and mindset to tackle these challenges.
Among the questions presented at this short conference:
- How can we, as educators of entrepreneurship and innovation, better prepare the next generation?
- What role should our institutions play to help us do this?
- What other systems and partnerships should we use?
We will have concurrent sessions so participants have the opportunity to choose their own path to explore. Next, we’re looking to hear from our colleagues in three broad creative categories:
- Curriculum – We discuss how to better equip teachers with the tools they need to develop and solve mission-driven problems for student groups.
- Ecosystems – We explore partnerships that engage and inform how to support positive student engagement and outcomes and diversity of thought.
- Trends – The pace of technological disruption shows no sign of slowing down. Climate change was a hypothesis for our generation, but it will be a reality on the ground for our students. The struggle between the great powers and the liquid global landscape will increase rapidly. All of these will shape the future curriculum that our students need and teachers must provide.
Alexander Osterwader, creator of Business Model Canvas and co-founder of Strategizer, will join the conversation on the intersection of education, innovation and entrepreneurship.
You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the conversation through dedicated sessions, chat, Q&A and an online community bulletin board. We will close the meeting with a fireside discussion by Alex Osterwader, moderated by Dr. Jerry Engel.
How to register
When you register, you will receive a link to an online collaboration area where you can submit questions, tests, and feedback. This feedback informs presentations, post-event white papers, and curriculum content delivered to our educator community.
This session is free but limited to creative educators. Sign up here and learn more on our website: We look forward to coming together as a community of teachers to shape the future of innovative learning at Leanne.
