TCC Tour Brands Announces Inaugural Jordan MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Fam

TTC Tour Brands announces an inaugural, one-of-a-kind MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® FAM to Jordan geared towards travel advisors with a passion for sustainable travel experiences. The FAM, in partnership with the TreadRight Foundation and Royal Jordanian, aims to educate travel advisors on what MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experiences are, how they are selected and the role they play in supporting TTC Tour Brand destinations worldwide. The exclusive experience will take place in Jordan from December 2, 2022-December 7, 2022.

“We’re very proud to be able to offer experiences on our trips that go beyond immersing in the culture of a destination and are specifically designed to support issues at the heart of the communities our guests are visiting,” says TTC Tour Brands’ Chief Trade Engagement Officer, Guy Young. “TTC Tour Brands’ MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experiences are an important part of our tour itineraries that offer an elevated experience for guests. Our hope for this FAM is to not only reward travel advisors that go above and beyond for the brands, but to display to them the value in choosing brands who demonstrate a passion for sustainable travel, and how that can support the individual efforts of the travel advisor community.

On this trip to Jordan, guests will travel to iconic destinations within the country including Amman, Petra, Wadi Rum and more. Travel advisors will experience a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience with a visit to Iraq al-Amir Women’s Association, a former TreadRight project aimed at helping local women preserve their heritage. Travelers will learn how the women make soap from olive oil and craft greeting cards from recycled paper. Advisors will also take part in a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Workshop where they’ll gain in-depth knowledge on how to position these experiences and get behind the scenes with leaders across The Travel Corporation (TTC) and the industry.

Other experiences on the trip include connecting with TreadRight leaders, Shannon Guihan and Parisa Pouramn, to learn what responsible travel means for TTC Tour Brands and how to further communicate that to guests. Travel advisors will visit the rose-red facades of UNESCO World Heritage Site Petra, visit the Roman amphitheatre and Citadel in Amman, the Crusader Fortress at Shobak, Wadi Rum and more. Travelers will also visit a Bedouin Amarine Camp where they’ll enjoy a traditional dinner with a Bedouin tribe at their camp under the stars and a Trafalgar “Be My Guest” dinner experience with local Jordanians.
