Texas Tech has announced that it will be sold to the Texas Game


Lubbock, Texas – The athletic department announced Tuesday that Texas Tech will end the season in front of the crowd on Saturday.

Sale continues his enthusiasm for the new head coach. Joey McGuire Texas Tech will play in front of at least 60,000 fans at home for the first time since being blown out by both Texas and Oklahoma during the 2018 season. It’s the 18th time since 2010 that the Red Raiders have drawn at least 60,000 fans.

Fans who purchased tickets to Saturday’s game against Texas are strongly encouraged to download mobile tickets prior to game day. Fans still looking to purchase tickets for Saturday are encouraged to purchase from Stubhub, the official Texas Tech Athletics secondary partner.

In addition, a Texas Tech student sit-in was held for students who paid athletic fees. Students can enter by swiping their student ID at Gate 6 (southeast corner) starting two hours before opening. Additional student seating has been set aside for Saturday’s game to accommodate as many Texas Tech students as possible.

The game between the Red Raiders and the Longhorns is set for 2:30pm at Jones AT&T Stadium. The game will be broadcast live nationally on ESPN and the Texas Tech Sports Network.

Texas is one of five Big 12 contests scheduled for Jones AT&T Stadium this season as the Red Raiders host West Virginia on Oct. 22, Baylor on Oct. 29, Kansas on Nov. 12 and Oklahoma on Nov. 26. Texas Tech is offering fans a choice of three contests starting at just $90 each. .
