Twitter started laying off employees in India
The social media platform has begun laying off workers in India as part of global job cuts implemented by Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk to streamline the economy and complete its $44 billion acquisition.
Last week, Elon Musk kicked off his tenure at Twitter by letting go of the company’s CEO, Parag Agrawal, as well as the CFO and a few other key employees.
The company’s content moderation staff is expected to be targeted for layoffs, according to employee postings on Friday. However, Musk has vowed to prevent the Declaration of Independence from turning into a “hell pose” when he rewrites it.
Apart from this, it is said that everyone will receive the termination letter individually. Ever since Elon Musk took over the largest social media platforms, various activities have taken place in the company.
He still needs to make it clear who he thinks will make the team and improve Twitter. Although a few days ago he had a virtual meeting with three leaders and finalized some points to rebuild the social media platform.
