The Cajuns’ rival wins in ridiculous fashion on the ultimate Hail Mary channel

(Author’s note before article: Cajuns fans, I apologize if this post causes you any frustration. I just thought I’d write about something interesting and fun from this weekend since you’ve all probably seen enough doom, gloom and “we we need to be better” for your home team this week. I can’t help but that the team involved is one of our biggest conference rivals.

Regardless, this is indirectly a good thing. More attention to the entertainment belt, more attention to our product, is always a good thing.)

Perhaps the most entertaining game played this Saturday, and actually this weekend, was Appalachian State against Troy on top of the mountain.

And if you pay any attention to college football, you already know exactly why.

In perhaps one of the most exciting finishes we’ve seen in years, a bad pick by Troy to get a safety lead for App State’s Chase Brice to loft a beauty into the hands of Christan Horn.

The whole game was really solid football, proving once again how high quality the Sun Belt’s on-field product is.

But as with any electrifying last-second victory like this, the reaction was almost better than the game.

Classy move here by Brice. As an avid supporter of the pitching/fielding tradition, I think it’s fantastic for the hero of the game to take the time to make sure the fans he empowered get onto the field safely to celebrate with their team.

I will NOT make any comments on what would happen if this were Cajun Field, but I do have my personal thoughts which you can always find on Twitter @roguesportsla.

Anyway, check out these escort girls from Troy realizing that they, in fact, just lost.

I don’t want to make any assumptions because that’s just gross, but if you look at the girl in the light pink dress closer to the camera, you can see that she’s the only one who understands what’s going on from the beginning. -go.

Something about that video is extremely funny to me. Another video that I find extremely funny is the radio announcer’s call for the heroic finale.

I don’t think it shows up in the embedded version of the tweet, but on Twitter the automatically generated captions for this video include a mention of a former president.

Barack Obama, indeed.
