The Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce will host the Business and Community Expo.

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) – The Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce is holding its 12th annual Business and Community Expo.

Officials say this is the largest collaborative event for local businesses and the community east of the Copper River.

The trade and community fair, in partnership with the City of Mount Pleasant and Roper St. Francis Healthcare, will have more than 80 vendors. From blood donation stations to appearances by community leaders and food trucks.

Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce Director Rebecca Imholz said businesses everywhere have been affected by COVID-19 and many are now returning to where they were due to the outbreak.

Imholtz If you own a business or have a community organization, this expo is a great way to meet people who can help you achieve your mission and goals.

“It’s a great way for someone in the business community to get the word out about their product and service offering, and it’s a great way for the community to connect with local support services,” says Imhotz.

The event is free from 1pm to 4pm at Omar Shrine, 176 Patriots Point Road.

Imholtz said they expect about 1,200 people to attend, and there will be freebies for the first 500 people.
