CHICAGO (CBS) — Chicago police are looking for clues in a string of robberies in Bridgeport and Yards.
Several franchise stores were hit on Sunday morning – all in less than an hour.
The robbers targeted seven businesses.
The door was broken at the Dunkin’ Donuts near Cermak and Halsted. Police responded to several businesses with broken front doors, including a Jimmy John’s.
The Chicago Police Department said in each incident between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m., three burglars broke into the front doors of the businesses and took cash or the business’s cash register.
Most businesses were closed at the time of the crash, police said.
The robbers left each scene in a Dodge Durango
No one was injured or arrested.
