Two shots on the campus of Oakland Tech High School


OAKLAND – A man, a woman and a woman were shot Sunday on the campus of the city’s high school, authorities said.

Shortly before 1:20 p.m., police responded to reports of a possible shooting at Oakland Technical High School, 4351 Broadway.

When officers arrived, they were directed to the school’s campus football field and found a man suffering from two gunshot wounds to the leg and lower body and a girl suffering from a graze wound.

Firefighters and paramedics also responded to the scene, treating the boy and girl before transporting them to separate hospitals.

A woman was admitted to a third hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg around 3 p.m., authorities said. The victims’ conditions were not immediately available Sunday afternoon.

Investigators have not shared any information about the suspect or the description of the vehicle involved.

Police are offering up to $5,000 for each bullet fired for information leading to the arrest of a suspect. Anyone with information can call police at 510-238-3426 or Crime Stoppers of Oakland at 510-777-8572.
