Verizon Business has appointed Sanjiv Gossain to lead Verizon Business EMEA


London, UK – Verizon Business has named Sanjeev Gosain as group vice president and head of EMEA. Sanjivive succeeds Scott Lawrence, who is Senior Vice President, Global Solutions. In his new role, Sanjeev will have overall responsibility for the company’s global enterprise business in the EMEA region, reporting directly to Massimo Pacelli, head of corporate and public sector revenue for Verizon Business.

“Sanjiv brings an impressive track record of growth and entrepreneurial success. He joins Verizon at a critical time as significant disruptions across the EMEA region create opportunities for our customers to use advanced technologies to transform their respective industries,” said Massimo Peselli.

Sanjeev joins Verizon from Cognizant where he served in several strategic roles and was a highly respected leader. He led the company’s digital business unit across Europe and Latin America, overseeing strong growth. Sanjiv then headed the company’s global artificial intelligence and Google Cloud businesses. Prior to Cognizant, Sanjeev was Regional CEO of a $2 billion business at Computer Science Corporation (now DXC Technology), leading the UK, Ireland and Benelux region.
