Special offer for Gear readers: Get a 1 year subscription b Wired For $5 ($25 off). This includes unlimited access Wiredcom and our print magazine (if desired). Subscriptions help fund the work we do every day.
The 24-megapixel full-frame Nikon Z6 II has excellent dynamic range, and the phase-detection autofocus system is one of the best we’ve used. Video quality is also excellent, with 10-bit 4:2:2 N-Log output possible via HDMI. This deal may be a permanent markup, but either way, it’s a great price for a great camera.
If you can’t decide where to start with Moment smartphone lenses, this kit is an easy way to get a well-rounded package without breaking the bank. You can pick up two lenses from one of the many instant deals, and you’ll get some great extras like a case, lens cap, lens pen, and more. If you upgrade to another iPhone, you’ll just need a new iPhone case and drop-down lens replacement.
If you feel the need for more photo-editing tools, this is a great deal on Adobe’s Photoshop editor (Illustrator and Premiere Pro sell for the same price). This deal is only valid for the first three months, after which the price will revert to $21 per month. If your photo-editing needs are simple, check out GIMP, which can do everything Photoshop can and is free.
Hero10 Black (8/10, WIRED Recommends) It’s not the latest GoPro, but it’s still a great camera. It adds a higher resolution than the 23.6-megapixel sensor and much improved image stabilization over its predecessor. The main area where the new Hero11 beats this camera is with the new, more square processor. Image stabilization: And high quality images from video. Still, the quality of results you’ll get from the Hero10 can be overwhelming. It’s cheaper if you buy directly from GoPro. Just remember to set a reminder to cancel the included 1-year GoPro subscription.
This sling bag works as a crossbody or fanny pack, and is comfortable no matter how you wear it. The 2-liter capacity is great for carrying a slim point-and-shoot, phone, or compact mirrorless camera. It’s made from recycled 500-denier nylon and 210-denier ripstop, making it rugged enough for everyday use.
Stasher bags are a WIRED favorite because they replace Ziploc bags that are easily wasted. Just wash and reuse them to store anything continuously. Every bag on the website is currently on sale. We recommend starting with two gallon and quart bags.
Use the code Planet 15 To see the discount when you spend $30. These quick drying biodegradable paper towels are made from cellulose and cotton. Unlike normal laundry, these will not smell or mold. You can wash them up to 200 times in your washing machine or in the top rack of your dishwasher. In our testing, they started degrading after a few months of use but outlasted similar products we tested.
Use the code Planet At checkout to view the offer. Avocado Green Mattress makes some of our favorite organic mattresses, toppers and beds. Everything on the site is 10 percent off for the next week, including bed frames and pillows.
If your order total is over $35, you’ll see the discount at checkout. The plastic wrap is annoying. Why does it always stick to itself and not to what you want it to stick to? Use these beeswax wraps from cleverly named beeswax wraps instead. These are organic cotton with sustainable beeswax (with jojoba oil and tree resin). Beeswax makes them waterproof. Be sure to use cold water when washing between uses; Hot water can melt wax.
Use the code Who is 50 Check out to see the discount. Our favorite weighted blanket is currently only available in the 15 pound size, but it’s the lowest price ever. It has an open knit design that feels heavy and cool, plus it’s very stylish. You can only clean and dry.
The Nikon Monarch M5 binoculars are our top pick for most people. These will give you a good bang for your buck, especially on sale. The 8 X 42 zoom is very versatile, although if you choose the larger 10 X 42, those also sell for $254 ($25 off).
Our favorite fitness tracker is on sale. The Fitbit 5 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) hits the sweet spot between attractiveness, affordability, accessibility, and ease of use. Perfect for anyone who isn’t an ultra-marathoner or a semi-pro powerlifter. Remember that Fitbit is now owned by Google, which might give you pause, but the hardware is one of the best deals you’ll find.
Icebreaker’s Merino T-shirts are warm, yet somehow cool and surprisingly good at stopping the wind. These shirts are not great in moisture; For that we suggest the Merino blend. And yes, that’s a lot of money for a t-shirt, but trust us, these are worth it. See our full guide to Merino wool for more options.
This is only available in one color and one size (medium), but if it suits you, this is a great deal on our favorite merino wool base layers. Blending 87 percent merino wool with nylon means it’s incredibly soft and comfortable.
REI is having a sale on all things bike related. From Crankbrothers multi-tools to nutcase MIPS Helms, there’s something here for everyone. There are also many authentic bikes. We love Cannondale’s Fast Women’s Electric Bikes for $1,145 ($480 off) and great beginner bikes.
